General Information

School Hours

Doors to the school open officially at 8:30 am, and students are encouraged to arrive between 8:30 am – 8:40 am. Parents are requested to ensure their children acquire appropriate punctuality habits from their earliest years, and this applies to the commencement of classes each morning.

Students arriving late for school after 9:00 am need to be signed in at the office.

Unsupervised children are not permitted on the school grounds after 3:10 p.m. unless they are attending school-related activities, such as sports training.

Canteen

Canteen is held every Friday at St Brigid’s. Please see the school’s QKR! App for ordering. Orders must be submitted before 8.00am on Fridays. Our comprehensive menu is compliant with our “Move Well Eat Well” policy, containing many healthy selections.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club is available to students 8.30 am - Monday and Wednesday mornings. We value the importance of ensuring that our students have adequate levels of energy before starting the school day. Breakfast Club is voluntarily run by parents, with support from student leaders.

Bus Service

A bus service is provided for all outlying areas. Parents wishing to arrange for their child to catch the bus must contact Wynyard Bus Lines on 64 42 2891. Students catching buses are supervised in lines and taken to their respective buses by teaching staff.
